To process your request in a timely manner, please submit this form 30 days prior to your scheduled event or announcement.

Before filling out the form above, be sure to first read the Guidelines on this sheet.  For an event to be sponsored by & promoted by GVC, it must be submitted to the Leadership for review at the Tuesday staff meeting.  This also includes events to be posted on the website, delivered through email or printed in the bulletin.

Your form will be presented at a Tuesday meeting & reviewed by the leadership.  You will get approval or questions ASAP.

GVC Activities Guidelines

All GVC events are under the authority of Grace Vancouver Church, including its vision, the statement of faith, the elder board and all guidelines of the church.

All events should reflect the core values of Grace Vancouver Church which are:

Caring for society’s most vulnerable is one of the clearest

mandates of Scripture

No event is to be in conflict with any event or activity of GVC if at all possible.  We encourage participation of and support in the activities of the church body as a whole.

The church leadership have final authority on approval of any event.  There are many activities that may be great to do, but that we do not have the finances or personnel for or that do not fit into our purposes and goals.

No events are to be announced or otherwise promoted prior to approval.  We realize there are many events that go on in the larger GVC body that may be of interest to others, but for an event to be advertised or promoted through GVC in any way (emails included) it must first be approved.

All GVC sponsored or promoted activities will be done in a manner reflective of a Christian group and in a way that glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ & is reflective of the principles of His word.

We strongly encourage that GVC events either include children or provide alternatives for child care.  You are responsible for securing appropriate child care. Child care providers are to be approved by the church and the guidelines for GVC child care are to be followed. Please note, unless this is an outreach or similar, GVC can not cover childcare costs. Where necessary, parents should be given adequate notice to find child minding on their own.
