Alpha Introduction to Christianity 
Jesus was frequently found provoking discussion with people during his time on earth. Just as he asked his own followers in his day, Jesus asks you today, "Who do you say that I am?" How would you answer him? How are you able to help others to answer this question?
This 10 week practical introduction to the basics of Christianity is designed to offer a safe place for seekers to explore the Christian faith and ask questions about life in an informal, friendly non-threatening environment.
Each week the group meets to share a meal, watch a video on topics such as "Who is Jesus?", "Why Did Jesus Die?", "How Can I be Sure of My Faith?", and "Does God Still Heal Today?", followed by small group interaction and discussion. There is also a day or weekend retreat midway through the course.
A team of people is needed to help with Alpha in the following ways:
- Cooking meals
- Praying for the leaders and participants
- Facilitating discussion and follow up with participants
- And, of course, invite your friends to come explore Christianity through Alpha!
