Small Groups

What are Small Groups? grace vancouver church small group

Small Groups are a key place where "shepherding" care occurs at Grace Vancouver. Small Groups that meet during the week throughout the city.

Small Groups include fellowship (many involve food!) and care, Bible study or teaching, sharing/discussion, prayer, accountability and opportunities for service.

Why join a small group?

Small Groups are a great place to get to know people better, receive spiritual nurture, experience spiritual growth, and learn to serve others. Small Groups grow us in our ability to relate with God and others.

What's the purpose of small groups?

Specifically, the purpose of Small Groups is to help shape us to be lovers of God who love our neighbours—people who pray and live for the peace and prosperity of the City.

What kinds of small groups are there?

Each Small Group often forms around a specific focus, whether it be gathering people from a particular neighbourhood in the city, a topic of study or of common interest or similar stage of life.

Small Groups in your neighbourhood: These groups meet in a similar area of the city and help group members to consider and pray for how God may use them in loving the neighbours in their various communities and spheres of influence. This is one of the best ways to get connected to others in the Grace Van community.

Small Groups with a focus: Grace Vancouver occasionally has specialized groups that meet for different seasons. You can find a listing of current groups meeting in the current season here. Focuses include arts, Alpha, choir, youth, international students, marriage, single women, and support for deep spiritual transformation.
